Key Responsibilities:
Research Practice: The various tasks within this role may include the following:
- Conduct and manage quantitative and qualitative research projects from inception to completion.
- Quantitative Research:
- Utilize advanced skills in SPSS and Q software.
- Clean and weigh data files to ensure accuracy.
- Develop new approaches, analyses, and frameworks to enhance research quality.
- Assist in producing and reviewing weekly, monthly, and quarterly client reports.
- Conduct desktop competitive intelligence research.
- Test online survey links for functionality and accuracy.
- Manage and liaise with clients and third-party suppliers to ensure project success.
- Reporting:
- Design and create concise, visually impactful presentations and reports.
- Write an insightful and concise commentary on each slide to convey critical findings.
- Present research findings clearly and engagingly to stakeholders.
Project Management:
- Oversee the delivery of qualitative research projects, ensuring they stay within scope, schedule, cost, and quality parameters.
- Allocate resources and manage project team members effectively.
- Monitor and control project timelines, risks, and issues.
- Provide quality assurance on client deliverables.
- Offer guidance and support to project team members.
Account Management:
- Maintain and nurture key client relationships.
- Align research findings with client business objectives.
- Contribute to the writing of proposals to secure repeat and new business.
- Identify and pursue business development opportunities relevant to company goals.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Experience: you will have experience in a market research agency environment with a broad range of clients, including financial services, telecommunications, and insurance.
- Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in SPSS and Q software are essential.
- Project Management: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality work on time.
- Problem-Solving: Demonstrated experience in resolving complex project and technical issues.
- Team Collaboration: A strong team player with the initiative to assist the broader team proactively. A good cultural fit, a “get things done” attitude, and a sense of humour are necessary.
