Junior Research Manager – Sydney
A leading market research agency is seeking a Junior Research Manager to join their Sydney team. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional with 2-3 years of quantitative research experience, eager to grow within a global company focusing on digital consumer insights and marketing analytics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Independently manage standardised and ad-hoc studies, including multi-country research, while adhering to project deadlines.
- Support and manage benchmarking exercises within the region.
- Collaborate with Senior Research Managers on complex studies.
- Write and adapt questionnaires for standard solutions, with customisation based on project objectives.
- Provide clear instructions to the operations team, reviewing data before and after deployment.
- Develop analysis plans and report templates.
- Continuously expand knowledge of research methodologies to manage more complex projects and accounts.
Skills and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Quantitative Analysis, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in marketing research, preferably within a full-service agency.
- Strong project management skills, with experience in managing quotas and panel partners.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word (SPSS knowledge is a plus).
- Experience with innovation and brand engagement research is preferred.
- Knowledge of ad testing, packaging testing, and concept testing is a bonus.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work within tight deadlines, demonstrating proactivity and problem-solving skills.
